The Maternal Health & Perinatal Safety Symposium
This innovative conference provides physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare providers with a review of current issues impacting maternal health and perinatal safety in New Jersey and nationally. Renowned experts will discuss the factors contributing to perinatal morbidity and mortality and propose prevention strategies that direct and enhance hospital obstetrical care for both patients and providers.
We are thrilled to announce that the Symposium will return on Thursday, March 16, 2023 and we are back in-person at the Bergen County Community College Lyndhurst Conference Center.
We have an exciting line-up of speakers and topics including tools for providers to improve health equity and reduce racial disparities, diversifying the healthcare workforce, self-care for healthcare professionals, technology and the future of perinatal care, perinatal care and the LGTBQ+ community, and highlighting evidence-based practices to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity.
