The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that every person 6 months of age and older gets a flu vaccine, but only half of New Jersey residents have received one in recent years. The flu vaccine is safe, effective, and readily available. The flu vaccine significantly reduces your chances of serious flu-related complications.

With the COVID-19 pandemic straining our health care systems, it’s more important than ever to protect the health of our communities against the flu this season. We are honored to collaborate with the New Jersey Department of Health this flu season to season to raise awareness of the importance of the flu vaccine.

NJ Influenza Action Group

Over 125 community organizations, hospitals, health care providers, and public health leaders have joined the New Jersey Influenza Action Group.
