Those who are pregnant or recently pregnant are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to get pregnant now, or might become pregnant in the future are recommended to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Research shows beneficial factors towards vaccination, protecting the pregnant person while building antibodies for the baby. Studies have also demonstrated none of the COVID-19 vaccines cause infertility. Healthcare providers are your best resource; reach out to your physician or other providers to determine if the COVID-19 vaccine is right for you.
